Hello,
I'm an admin of some system wide conda installation (each ~40GB) , which is
read-only
and used by ~50 clients. (This saves space on the fileserver, and backups.)
The main admin task is something like this:
- I like to have package "xyz" but its not there.
Why the user cannot add packages of its own?
Ok, this is against a "central" system wide approach, but would
add some flexibility, if it is configurable by the user.
best regards,
Martin
